We aim to teach people to address lifestyle issues, by creating healthy eating habits and exercising for optimum health. We are NOT a rapid weight loss retreat focusing on starvation diets and over training – if this is your goal then we are not the place for you. We don’t use scales at The Body Camp, but measure your body on arrival and departure, to track fat loss in inches.
Who comes to The Body Camp?
We attract people from a wide range of ages, sizes, backgrounds and nationalities, typically from 18 to 60. Everybody is welcome.

Yes and these are very effective in team building and are amazing experiences for groups of friends and family. Please contact the office for information and quotes.

Will I be OK to come on my own?
Fifty percent of our guests come alone and make great friends. If you are worried about sharing with strangers we have single rooms available.
How hard is the training?
We have a daily set programme of exercise. This is expertly planned to maximise your workouts one day and rest various body parts the next. We also have teaching classes, cookery school & meditation so you have plenty of down time. We don’t aim to overwork your body just push you when you need it.
If your first reason for attending is weight loss, you will have to work to your maximum ability to get maximum results. However, our exercise plan will be tailored to your personal level of fitness.
I’m very unfit or overweight and afraid I won’t be able to do it?
We are here to guide and mentor you and provide you with the support to participate at the right level for you.
How much weight will I lose?
This varies from person to person, depending on how much weight you need to lose. We have had results ranging from 1lb to 12lbs. The beauty of the programme is that you will go home having changed your habits and should continue to lose weight if you follow our guidelines. This always depends on your size, age, weight and the effort you put in when you are here. It’s your choice. Please note at The Body Camp we don’t use weighing scales to measure body fat loss. We will take your body measurements on arrival and departure to monitor your fat loss in inches or centimetres.
What if I don’t want to lose weight?
If your focus is building strength and muscle or gaining weight, we will adjust your food portions by adding extra protein to your meals and including some vegan protein shakes. There will be a small additional cost for this.

How do I get to camp and when?
Check in time at The Body Camp is from 4pm – 8pm on your arrival day and check out is 9am, the following week.
Once you have booked your flights, please forward us your flight details and we will organise your transfer for you. This will be confirmed and our driver will be waiting for you as you come through arrivals. He will be holding up an ipad with The Body Camp Logo on it. A one way transfer costs 70 euros or you can share with up to 3 other guests and divide the cost.
The Villa is 10 minutes drive from the airport. You can also take a taxi, which is approximaely 15 euros. You need to print off our directions and give a copy to the taxi driver, as our address does not work with Sat Nav.
You can access the villa strictly from 4pm on Saturday, not before. If you are arriving early, our transfer driver will take you to a place to relax for the day such as a spa, beach or café, at an additional cost. We do a weekly guest pick up from Tropicana Beach Club at 4pm, so this is a great place to relax if you arrive early. You can have lunch and hire a sun bed, although we advise that you book this in high season. The very latest you can arrive to our villa is 8pm. Any later and you will have to book a hotel and arrive the following morning.
I have a hire car, where’s the map?
We will send you directions with your booking confirmation. When you collect your hire car, make sure that you ask for a map of the island. If you do get lost, you can phone us and we will come and meet you in the nearest village to guide you in.
What if I want to get a taxi or arrive late?
We strongly suggest that you get flights that enable you to arrive at the villa by 4pm and also to use our transfer service, which is 70 euros each way. The villa is secluded and the island has limited postal codes and full address, so taxis won’t know where it is by the name or rough directions. We do have directions translated into Spanish, so if you plan to take a taxi, please print these off and take them with you for the driver. A taxi costs approximately 15 euros each way.
We start our camps at 4pm. This is when everyone will meet each other, do some goal setting, paperwork, all body stats and evening yoga. Arriving late means you will miss this important part of the introductions. If you, cannot arrive at this time then the cut off time for arrivals is strictly 8pm that night or you can book a B&B and join us at 7am the next morning.
What happens if I arrive at The Body Camp under the influence of alcohol or drugs or take them during my stay?

Are we allowed to go out in the evening when staying at The Body Camp?
We advise that you don’t go out in the evening. The reason you have come to The Body Camp is to establish new habits and going out can lead to temptation and does not always support your goals. We have a zero tolerance for alcohol policy in place, so if you did request special permission to go out, we would ask that you please refrain from drinking and be mindful of affecting other guests enjoyment.
